Add Collect in Store (a.k.a. Click & Collect or Store Pickup) functionality to your Magento 1 website.
This extension allows you to administer physical collection stores and let your customers specify where they would like to pick up their orders from. Any number of stores may be added, each with their details such as opening hours and coordinates, automatically generated by the address, allowing the customer to make a choice of where is best to collect from.
The customer can search for their nearest store by location, or using their devices GPS, and be shown exactly where it is on Google maps, all integrated in to the Magento checkout steps.
How does it work?
This extension will add "Collect in store" as an option in the checkout billing section. Choosing this option negates the need to enter "Shipping Address" details instead the user is presented with a store search screen. Here the user may search for their closest store by address and country or using their devices GPS functionality. The displayed name of the option; number of results returned and size of the search area can configured in the admin panel.
On selecting a store the customer can continue through the checkout steps as usual. The customer can still click back to change their choice of store if required, using the back button will jump the customer to the correct location depending on the type of delivery they chose.
If you only have a few stores, search can be disabled. Instead your users will be immediately presented with a list of your stores and their locations on Google map.
Customers are aided when searching for a store by auto completion on the address entry coming from Google maps auto complete based on the customer's current location.
This same ability to select a store to deliver to is also available to admin users when creating an order in the back-end admin panel.
Collect In Store acts as a native Magento shipping method, so it will display as expected everywhere any other shipping method would, eg. admin order view, customer account orders view, etc.
The collection stores can be configured at any time in the admin panel. Each store can be assigned an address and GPS co-ordinates, auto generated from the address. Additional info such as opening times or special notes can also be added via wysiwyg editor.
Try before you buy
Head over to our Magento 1.9 Demo Website, add some dummy products to your cart and try the Collect in Store functionality for yourself.
Note different physical stores have been configured for the different country store views, so if you view the French store via the top menu you will see stores located in France etc.
